Gwyn Griffiths was born in Tregaron, a small market town and community in the county of Ceredigion, Wales. In the course of a career encompassing the youth service, journalism, translation, broadcasting and PR, he wrote travel books, a history of the Breton onion men and the Welsh National Anthem and co-edited The Turn of the Ermine – an anthology of Breton Literature
