Chair of Mebyon Kernow – The Party for Cornwall, twice Grand Bard of Gorsedh Kernow, President of the International Celtic Congress, and President of the Federation of Old Cornwall Societies, he was also a writer,  editor, poet, preacher and speaker, and tireless champion of the Cornish language.
